A treatment program will be started based on the patient’s desires, history and probability of success. The patient will continue the treatment option for eight weeks, at which time it is evaluated and changed or continued as necessary. Most patients can expect to see some improvement within three to four weeks, with great improvement by eight to ten weeks. Follow-up may continue intermittently for several more months to ensure behavioral techniques persist.
At the end of the treatment, a report will be sent to the referring physician about the patient’s program.
