Conservative treatments usually involve exercising the pelvic muscles along with promoting changes in behavior such as toilet habits, exercise, and lifestyle or diet modifications.  The  treatments offered include education, relaxation techniques, prompted voiding, habit training and biofeedback.  Involvement of the patient in the treatment plan is very important, and each patient’s plan is tailored to meet individual needs.  All treatments are based on the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality Continence Management for Adults.
